November 18-22, 2009, Washington DC will be the host of a visual and auditory event unlike any other: the 2009 Motion Graphics Festival (MGFest). MGFest brings a new perspective to the world of graphics design, by showing how these technologies apply to new media. Past MGFest events have included huge names in the cutting edge world of graphics and sound, and MGFest 2009 DC will be no exception.

MGFest 2009 DC will feature an exciting panel for anyone involved in the business of persuasion. During this panel, attendees will have the unique opportunity to listen to the foremost experts in the field of persuasive media, and learn a little more about how the science of design affects the way in which we view the information that we are presented with every day. You just might be surprised!

Making things even more exciting, from November 20-22, all in attendance will have the opportunity to get down and dirty with a high-octane PC and learn a little more about the top design software available today, including Photoshop, After Effects, Maxon Cinema 4D, and 3D Studio Max. Whether you are just starting out in graphic and sound design, or are already a seasoned professional, you are sure to learn a few new tricks along the way.

Capping the most exciting creative festival of the year will be Mashitude, a multimedia event unlike any other. Mashitude is both a party and an art display, showcasing YOUR submitted artwork in entirely new ways by remixing it with the work of others. Mashitude will be an experience for all of the senses, combining graphics, sound, and interactivity into a display that will be far more than the sum of its parts.

MGFest has doubled in attendance each year since its first, and with good reason. It is a visual design experience that is simply unparalleled in the field. As many as 1,000 attendees are expected for MGFest 2009 DC, and if you have more than a passing interest in graphics, sound, or any other creative media, MGFest 2009 DC will be guaranteed to leave you with a new perspective on your art. Mark it on your calendar today, and spend a weekend in November with the greatest minds in your field. http://mgfest.com/09/WashingtonDC/
